The Textile Engineering Department
The Department of Textile Manufactures, originally established as the Ripon Textile School, is housed in a northern light steel-trussed roof building. Equipped with modern spinning and weaving machines and advanced laboratory tools, the department engages in industry consultancy and serves as a Government of India recognized testing facility. It offers B.Tech and M.Tech degrees at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with in-plant training integrated into the diploma and B.Tech curricula.
